Black Horse Inn

Sharon and Paul Crossley are very pleased to welcome you to our Mobile Website. We hope you will favour us with a visit to this lovely part of the country and that you will take the time to step in and enjoy our ales and the fayre of our rich and varied Restaurant and Bar Menus. If you are visiting from afar, why not consider a stay in one of our very comfortable rooms? We are only about 10 minutes from Newmarket and Cambridge by car and we have ample car parking.

The Black Horse Inn is a very historic
building and was established in 1765
when it was known as The Horse and Groom, a traditional coaching Inn. It was not until the 1870's that the name was changed to The Black Horse Inn.

Opening Hours

The Black Horse is open from 11.30am to 11.30pm every day other than Sunday when we close at 9.30pm.

When We Serve Food

The Black Horse serves food from midday to 2.00pm and 6.00pm to 9.00pm every day other than Sunday when we serve from midday to 2.00pm only.

Angelsey Abbey
